take the poison of your age, don’t lick your fingers when you turn the page.

In case the lack of blog posts wasn't indication enough, I've been busy with school. For some reason, I don't find myself complaining too much. Yeah, the midterms, assignments and essays are a bitch (as are 8am and 4pm classes) but generally, I don't mind seeing the usual friendly faces everyday and having some sort of routine.
This also means I don't have anything exciting to blog about aside from my obsession with lists.
I love lists. I may have some sort of disorder when it comes to lists relevant to pop culture (mainly just movies and books). So I freaked out when I saw this notebook a few weeks ago at Michael's (aka heaven) when I went to visit my sister and brother in law (or as I like to call him, my brother from another mother) in Ontario. Too cool for school right?

Last night, I watched Big Fish and Life Aquatic. Next week I might go see New Moon / Fantastic Mr. Fox, if I don't however, I plan on watching Lars & the Real Girl and Spinal Tap. I was planning on watching some Scrubs season 2 this weekend because I can see the DVD case laughing at me from my bookshelf but we'll see.
(Side note, blog title: Neon Bible - Arcade Fire)

i just haven't met you yet .

What can I say? I love a man in a suit, especially this crooner.
Highlight of my week: Michael Buble was on Oprah today. Oh how I love him & his velvety voice, it was just what I needed after the week I've had. To summerize it in one word, stressful. I am just glad that it is over and done with.
I came to the sad realization sometime this week while I was creeping on my many school lover boys that I need to try to have some sort of life outside of school, something that sadly,I do not see happening much anytime in the near future.

you are my voice, my microphone.

It's Saturday night, do you know what you should be doing? I do. It involves working on my english essay. I watched the habs game tonight, we won. If the first two games are any indication of how this season is going to be, I believe Carey Price will have an amazing year, lets just hope the rest of our team can get it together.
Lately I have been a little obsessed with these Doc Martens I purchased from this cool little thrift shop I came across. They are black and look very bad ass yet feminine at the same time (or so I was told). If you are a reader of Nylon magazine such as me, you probably are already in love with them.
Also, I have been considering getting a haircut. At this point I am torn in between Taylor Momsen (not so little J from gossip girl) and Zoey Deschanel. I'm giving myself 3 weeks to decide.
And to end on a random note, I may have a school girl crush on my humanities teacher. He looks like a cross between Jason Schwartzman and Leonard from the Big Bang Theory (for the record, he is way more on the Jason Schwartzman side. its more like a 80-20 ratio).

caring is creepy.

I will not start off by saying FML because I have come to the realization that there are people in this world who are a lot less fortunate than us. There are people dying of aids and hunger and Africa, there are people in war torn countries who do not know whether they will live or die, there are people who live on street because they have lost everything, and the list goes on. In comparason doesnt "fuck my life because I am in science and have a lot of homework" sound sort of petty?

My workload until thanksgiving(next 2 weeks):
-organic chem midterm
-biology enzyme lab
-physics quiz

-physics lab report
-physics integrative activity
-nutrition and health management midterm
-english midterm essay
-nutrition and health management fit day project (which my teacher has yet to explain)
-ethical issues in science(humanities) midterm
-biology midterm
and...the monday after thanksgiving:
-physics midterm
-biology integrative activity

On a lighter note, this is my current laptop and cell phone background, credit goes to cobrasnake.

god put a smile upon your face.

I was going through some old images on my computer and came across these. I've been having a so-so day but this instantly put a smile on my face and made my heart melt, so I decided to pass the love along, enjoy.

If you hear my cry, running through her street, I'm about to freak, come and rescue me.

My first week back at school has been pretty decent, I'm mostly just happy to see my friends and all the familiar faces.
I already have a pretty hefty load of homework due next week:
-preparing my organic chemistry lab for monday
-organic chem assignment for tuesday
-ethical issues in science(humanities) essay for wednesday
-prepare biology lab for tuesday
-finish physics lab report for friday
-start physics textbook problems
-read play for discord on contemporary drama(english) for wednesday
But for some reason I'm not complaining because
a)I've had much worse and pulled it off
b)JOBROZ CONCERT TOMORROW!
