caring is creepy.

I will not start off by saying FML because I have come to the realization that there are people in this world who are a lot less fortunate than us. There are people dying of aids and hunger and Africa, there are people in war torn countries who do not know whether they will live or die, there are people who live on street because they have lost everything, and the list goes on. In comparason doesnt "fuck my life because I am in science and have a lot of homework" sound sort of petty?

My workload until thanksgiving(next 2 weeks):
-organic chem midterm
-biology enzyme lab
-physics quiz

-physics lab report
-physics integrative activity
-nutrition and health management midterm
-english midterm essay
-nutrition and health management fit day project (which my teacher has yet to explain)
-ethical issues in science(humanities) midterm
-biology midterm
and...the monday after thanksgiving:
-physics midterm
-biology integrative activity

On a lighter note, this is my current laptop and cell phone background, credit goes to cobrasnake.

god put a smile upon your face.

I was going through some old images on my computer and came across these. I've been having a so-so day but this instantly put a smile on my face and made my heart melt, so I decided to pass the love along, enjoy.

If you hear my cry, running through her street, I'm about to freak, come and rescue me.

My first week back at school has been pretty decent, I'm mostly just happy to see my friends and all the familiar faces.
I already have a pretty hefty load of homework due next week:
-preparing my organic chemistry lab for monday
-organic chem assignment for tuesday
-ethical issues in science(humanities) essay for wednesday
-prepare biology lab for tuesday
-finish physics lab report for friday
-start physics textbook problems
-read play for discord on contemporary drama(english) for wednesday
But for some reason I'm not complaining because
a)I've had much worse and pulled it off
b)JOBROZ CONCERT TOMORROW!

sitting, waiting, wishing.

A sure sign that my summer is over: school starts tomorrow. I'm spending today lounging around my house hungry(side note: I am fasting) organizing bits and pieces of my life. You know how some people are minimilists? They wear simple basic classic pieces of clothing, their rooms are always neat and empty, everything seems to be tucked away? Well, I would decribe myself as the complete opposite. I love stuff, organized stuff or as I like to call it, organized clutter. I have this dream of the ultimate office/library, it would packed to the brim with books and magazines alongside meaningful pieces of art and a huge corkboard.

mad men.

I know I haven't posted anything in a while, summer is almost over and I've been trying to enjoy my last days of freedom before school starts. So today I decided to let you all in on my latest obsession: Mad Men. I am absoltely in love with this drama set in New York circa 1960. The storylines, the clothes, the historical accuracy, everything is amazing.

(500) days of summer.

I went to see this today. It is a very cute movie, put me in good mood, and the soundtrack is amazing. Just thought I'd share.

the local crew does osheaga.

I waited a few days to blog about Osheaga because I wasn't sure where to begin, I'm still not. For starters , I saw Coldplay, which made my life, but I feel like I can't talk about it too much because nothing I say will do them justice, it were simply beyond words. We were in the second row, I got to touch Chris Martin, which again, made my life.
Bands you should check out:
Kitty, Daisy & Lewis.
They are old folksy family band made up of 3 siblings and joined by their parents. Very retro, they have old sound to them, which I love. They were amazing.
Josh Ritter and his band.
I loved Josh Ritter, he was so cute and smiling the whole time, seemed like a gentleman. His sound sort of reminds me of Bob Dylan, which is a good thing for obvious reasons.
Eagles of Death Metal.
They are old school rock n roll band from L.A, they totally killed! Each band member is a character in their own right, they definetely brought it, I loved every single moment of it.
(Side note: My friends and I almost caught the guitar pick and shirt of the lead singer. The shirt was snatched from our hands, but we felt his sweat from the dampness)Jason Mraz.
I dont think this man needs any introduction, everyone has heard of him by now. He was awesome, really connected well with the audience, really funny, everyone loved him.
