Everything will be alright.

Breathe in. Breathe out.
Brush off the bad vibes.
Focus on the positive energy.
All is love?

It's times like these you learn to live again.

First off, for those of you concerned, yes I am alive.
I feel like this song will keep me going for the next week, both versions of it. So once again, thank you Dave Grohl for being a music God.

Too much genius and beauty for one person to handle

This is by far the best movie I have seen in a long long time. It is so refreshing and nice to see something with such substance as opposed to all the crap that Hollywood spews out. I actually cried during the last 5 minutes of the film because it is just that amazing.

Sweet dreams.

Jack Johnson is still king of all things mellow and good.

If you like Entourage

then you will love How to Make it in America. I just spent the past 2 hours watching the first 3 episodes and I am hooked. Plus like every HBO show, the opening is dope.

The Bends.

Reporting live from my sister's digs in Newmarket Ontario.
Oh, I got a trim on Friday. My hair feels strangely short even though I know it's not.

You and I are gonna live forever.

A combination that has defined most of my summer thus far:
90's music and European love.

Flower waves/Good vibrations.

For the first time in a long time, I meditated. It is part of my A.M Yoga DVD but I usually skip it because I am too much in a rush, but man let me tell you, I never will again. It cleared my mind and helped me re-gain the state of mind I had partially lost during the school year. To be perfectly honest, it mostly comes in handy when dealing with my parents when I remind myself to brush off the bad vibes to keep my inner peace because things just are the way they are and you have two choices
a) Flip out, make a big deal about it, stress yourself out and get nowhere
b) Chill out, let it be known in a calm manner that you are not pleased with the situation but keep your cool because that's life and you gotta deal (Thank you Jack Johnson, king of all things mellow and good)
Don't worry, I haven't smoked anything, I just have had a lot of time to ponder. I miss my Polar Bear so much it actually hurts. I think I have cried more in the past week than I have in the past year but this time apart has made me realize how important what we have is. It is worth going through anything because it's the only thing in my life that really matters.
Also, I sewed today, for the first time in a long time. It felt nice. It's the first elastic waistband skirt I've ever sewn so this first one is kind of a test run to see how it goes. Hopefully everything will turn out nicely.
If you have the time, check this out. It's pretty awesome.
I've posted a lot this week because I've had the time and what seems like nothing better to do. I might not so much, I have about 13 DVDs that await me.
Namaste.

You are the most, you're so rad, you're so fresh.

For the record, I am aware that the song is about a lawyer but it still gets me everytime.

Warning: hipsters ahead.

If I could live in a music video, it might just be this one.

I look just like Mary Tyler Moore and you're my Buddy Holly.

I am now living in my post week of hell. It is quite awesome, I barely have any homework. It's kind of weird though because every now and then I get paranoid and think I should be doing something productive.
I've had a lot of time to think about certain things yet avoid thinking about bigger more important things all together because I don't like the obvious answers to the questions I seem to be asking. By more important I mean higher education and what University shall have the honor of calling itself mine come September. I hate thinking about it so I'll get back to you in a month or so. Once I make a decision, I'll still to it, it's just a matter of figuring it out.
It's funny because aside from that, I am doing well and am really happy.

See you on the other side, Ray.

(yes, that was a Ghostbusters reference)

This seems like appropriate image considering my week of school hell to come.

I'm writing you to catch you up on places I've been.

I walked through half of Montreal yesterday.
From NDG to Cote-des-Neiges to Westmount to the top of the mountain to the downtown core.
I highly recommend it, just remember to keep good company, it makes for a worthwhile stroll.

Nineteen candles.

Best birthday ever, I have so much to say. The past 3 days have been amazing, and I know I have two people to thank for this: the Biffle and the Polar Bear. I am so incredibly lucky to have such amazing people in my life, I knew it before but after yesterday I have no doubts.

For those of you out there wondering, I have the best best friend ever. You should be jealous.
Don't mess with me or you shall feel the wrath of the MTB.

You looked it up.

'' Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. '' - Leonardo Da Vinci

When it seems that the obvious thing to do would be to get lost in the chaos of life, I find myself obsessing over the simplicities of it. I would much rather stay in, cuddle up and watch a movie and consequently get lost in the moment than plan tedious day out and about. To some, it might be a sign of laziness, but I know deep down inside that when it comes down to it, it's more about the company you have than how you spend it.
Exhibit A: Rory and Jess.

Also, I gave blood yesterday. I have a hemoglobin level of 14.6, beat that USA.
And finally, my best friend Meaghan and I are trying to meet in a dream, I'll keep you posted on that.

Drink up, baby down, are you in or are you out.

We mailed our PostSecret's on Thursday, it was more for emotional self-gratification than any type of glory. We'll see what happens.

Don't stop me now I'm having such a good time.

Ever since I was a kid, late night TV has been a staple in my household. At first, it started of as a way to stay up late and spend some time with my dad, but over time, I have have gained a new level of respect the few hosts who are able to produce a solid show of comedic proportions.
This is why I am genuinely disappointed by the choices NBC has made as of late concerning my favorite comedian. I always have and always will stand by Conan O'Brien in whatever endeavors he chooses to pursue because simply put, he is just plain funny. Funnier than funny, everything he touches turns into absolute hilarity and I know NBC will regret this.
